It is our pleasure to invite you to attend our 2010 Spring Fund Raising Event “LIKE A FINE WINE, LAP ONLY GETS BETTER WITH TIME”.
LAP Respite Center and the MSU Chapter of Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) have partnered as co-planners for this event. Our first Annual, 2010, fund raising event will showcase Wines and Fine Foods in the magnificent setting of the new MSU STADIUM TOWERS. There will be live music (mostly Jazz) to entertain guests as they partake in an exciting shopping trip at the SILENT AUCTION or have their picture taken at the top of the MSU Stadium.
Ron Perry, MSU professor of Horticulture and Wine Educator, is the chair of the planning committee. The committee is assisted by the professionals of Kellogg Center, Spartan Signature Catering, and renowned MSU Chefs. Please join us to enjoy an exquisite presentation of tastes, sights, and sounds.
TIME AND PLACE
LIKE A FINE WINE, LAP ONLY GETS BETTER WITH TIME will be held on Thursday April 22, 2010. The Event will be in progress from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The special MC Hosts for the evening will be Chris Holman of Greater Lansing Business Monthly and Jason Colthorp from WILXTV.
LIKE A FINE WINE, LAP ONLY GETS BETTER WITH TIME will be held at the Spartan Towers located at the MSU Football Stadium. Parking may be available in lot 61 from Chestnut Road near the entrance of the Stadium Towers, Lot 62E on Red Cedar Road, or other parking lots near the Stadium. After 6:00 PM, many of these lots are free. LAP volunteers will be located in lots to help guide you to the Stadium Towers entrance.
SPECIAL EVENTS
We invite you to help LAP celebrate 20 years as a Respite Service Agency in the Lansing, Tri-County Area. LAP Respite Center has been a proud provider of quality lifespan respite services since 1989. The proceeds from this event will be used to help sustain the services of LAP as we provide assistance for the primary care providers of children, adults, and seniors who require continuous, specialized care. LAP strives to provide the highest quality services to our families through training and supervision of our care providers and offering families the option of a time for rest, and rejuvenation in order to keep their loved ones safely in their own home. Please join us to celebrate this milestone for LAP Respite Center.

Tickets may be purchased in advance for $60.00 per person, or for $75.00 at the door.
